The British Open Youth Competition was held this weekend at the Sunderland Wall. Some of Our Team attended and we got some great results. Well done to all that took part.

Dom won his group
Georgia was second in her group
And Duncan came a respectable 13th.

Midlands Bouldering League

Wolf Mountain Host Rd 2 of Midlands Bouldering League the week just gone. 25 problems set by Mark Croxall were great and lots of fun was had by everybody who was there on Sunday. Today's your last chance to enter the event.

Next round is is a Newport on the 2nd to the 5th Dec.

Failure in Font

You saw and read about the success's we had in font. Well check out the video below showing the stuff we fell off.

Recent Font Trip

Hi Again, we have just returned for a week trip to Fontainebleau where we had the hottest temps we have every had. Unless you got up really early it was just roasting hot and made the bouldering a little tricky but we did manage to get a few things done.
 
Deb managed to complete the following and also did most of the moves on Les Beaux Quartiers(f8a) and losts of moves of Alta (f7c), shame it was so hot else I think more would have gone down.

Video of Deb on Ben's Roof

Here is a video (From Robin Hollard) of Debs on Ben's roof the weekend before. The Previous go she dropped from the last move and then is all got too hot and sweaty. But thankfully completed the following weekend as you know.

Debs Completes Ben's Roof

On Sunday the 11th of September Deb completed Ben's Roof ((Font 7c+) and for reference she did not use the knee bar method) at Raven Tor  in the Peak District. After only 3 short sessions  and only 10th month after having of baby daughter Jamie.  It was almost done the previous weekend droping the last two moves and then lack of skin and the sun coming out. She had previoulsy tried this before Jamie came along and almost doing it twice at around 3/4 month Pregnant so was please to get this project ticket off and her hardest boulder problem to date. At them momoent we have no video's or photo's but she says she will try and repeat for the video at some point.
